You feel alone sometimes. Like nobody understands your struggles. Like you’re carrying everything by yourself. Like even your prayers go unheard in the vast universe.
But here’s what you can’t see: At this very moment, angels—creatures of pure light who never disobey Allah ﷻ—are making du’a for you.
The Noblest Angels Asking Allah ﷻ to Forgive YOU
[Surah Ghafir, Ayah 7-9]
“Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe: ‘Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Path, and save them from the torment of the Hellfire. Our Lord! And make them enter the Gardens of Eden which You have promised them—and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise. And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. Whosoever You protect from evil consequences that Day, You will have bestowed Mercy upon him. And that is the supreme success.'”
The bearers of Allah’s Throne. The noblest angels. The ones closest to Allah ﷻ. The ones who never tire of worshipping Him.
They’re making du’a for you. Right now.
Not because you asked them. Not because they know you personally. Simply because you believe in Allah ﷻ.
Look at what they’re asking for you:
- Forgiveness for all your sins
- Protection from Hellfire
- Entry into Paradise – the eternal Gardens
- Reunion with your righteous family members
- Safety from all evil consequences
These aren’t weak du’as from weak angels. These are powerful supplications from the most honored creatures in existence, asking the Most Merciful to shower you with mercy.
And they’re doing it constantly. Every moment. Every day. For every believer on Earth.
The Angels Beside You While You Pray
Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported in Sahih al-Bukhari (445) and Sahih Muslim (649): The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The angels keep on asking Allah’s forgiveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and does not break wind. They say: ‘O Allah ﷻ! Forgive him. O Allah ﷻ! Have mercy on him.'”
You finish Fajr. You’re sitting on your prayer mat. Making dhikr. Making du’a. Or just sitting quietly reflecting.
And beside you—invisible to your eyes but very real—angels are sitting too. And they’re saying:
“O Allah ﷻ, forgive him!”
“O Allah ﷻ, have mercy on him!”
Over and over. As long as you remain there. As long as you stay in that place of prayer.
That’s why the Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to sit after prayer. To not rush away immediately. Because every moment you remain there, angels are interceding for you with Allah ﷻ.
When You Make Du’a for Others
Umm ad-Darda رضي الله عنها reported in Sahih Muslim (2733): The Prophet ﷺ said:
“No Muslim servant supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: ‘And for you the same!'”
Think about this. You make du’a for your friend going through hardship. You ask Allah ﷻ to heal your sick relative. You pray for your parents’ forgiveness. You make du’a for all Muslims.
And an angel assigned to you says: “And for you the same!”
Every du’a you make for others bounces back to you. That’s the beauty of Islamic brotherhood. You want good for others? Allah ﷻ makes the angels wish the same good for you.
So when you say: “O Allah ﷻ, forgive my Muslim brother” – the angel says: “O Allah ﷻ, forgive him too!”
When you say: “O Allah ﷻ, grant her ease” – the angel says: “And grant him ease!”
When you say: “O Allah ﷻ, cure them” – the angel says: “And cure him!”
You’re never losing out by praying for others. You’re actually multiplying your blessings.
Angels Surrounding Circles of Dhikr
Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported in Sahih Muslim (2689): The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Allah ﷻ has roaming angels who go around on the roads seeking those who remember Allah ﷻ. When they find a group remembering Allah ﷻ, they call to one another: ‘Come to what you are looking for!’ Then they surround them with their wings until the space between them and the lowest heaven is fully covered.”
Picture this: A group of Muslims sitting together. Reading Quran. Making dhikr. Discussing Islamic knowledge. Studying hadith together.
And in the heavens, teams of angels are roaming. Looking specifically for gatherings where Allah ﷻ is remembered.
When they find you, they call out to each other with joy: “Come! Here are the ones we’ve been searching for!”
Then they surround you. With their wings. Wings so vast they stretch from where you’re sitting all the way to the lowest heaven.
Then Allah ﷻ—even though He knows everything—asks them: “What are My servants saying?”
The angels reply: “They are glorifying You, praising You, remembering Your greatness.”
Allah ﷻ asks: “Have they seen Me?”
“No, they have not seen You.”
“How would they act if they saw Me?”
“They would worship You even more earnestly, glorify You even more intensely.”
Allah ﷻ asks: “What do they ask of Me?”
“They ask for Your Paradise.”
“Have they seen My Paradise?”
“No, O Lord.”
“How would it be if they saw it?”
“They would desire it even more desperately.”
Then Allah ﷻ declares: “I have forgiven them. I have granted them what they asked for. I have given them refuge from what they feared.”
Just for sitting in a gathering where Allah ﷻ was remembered.
The hadith continues: One angel says, “O Lord, among them was someone who just happened to pass by and sat with them.”
Allah ﷻ responds: “To him also I have given forgiveness. Anyone who sits with such people shall not suffer.”
Even the person who randomly joined—forgiven. Just for being in that blessed gathering.
The Angels Who Record Your Deeds
We all know about the Kiraman Katibin—the noble scribes—who record our deeds. One on your right shoulder recording good. One on your left recording evil.
But did you know they’re not neutral observers? They have preferences. They have joy.
When you do good, the angel on your right rushes to write it down. If you do something bad, the angel on your left waits. He delays for six hours, hoping you’ll repent so he doesn’t have to record it.
And if you do a sin then repent immediately, he doesn’t write it at all. Instead, he writes: “Made a mistake and repented.”
They’re not trying to catch you failing. They’re hoping you succeed.
All of Creation Prays for Those Who Teach Good
Abu Umamah al-Bahili رضي الله عنه reported in Sunan at-Tirmidhi (2685): The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Allah ﷻ, His angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the ant in its hole and the fish in the sea, send blessings upon those who teach people good.”
You teach your child Quran? Angels make du’a for you.
You share beneficial Islamic knowledge online? Angels make du’a for you.
You correct someone’s misunderstanding about Islam? Angels make du’a for you.
You encourage someone toward good? Angels make du’a for you.
Not just angels—all of creation. The fish swimming in the depths of the ocean. The ant crawling in its colony underground. They’re all asking Allah ﷻ to bless you.
Why? Because you’re spreading good. You’re helping Allah’s servants. And all of creation recognizes that and honors it.
What This Means for You Right Now
You’re not fighting your battles alone. You have an entire celestial support system you can’t even see.
When you’re struggling with sin – Angels are asking Allah ﷻ to forgive you and guide you.
When you’re sitting in prayer – Angels beside you are saying “O Allah ﷻ, have mercy on him!”
When you make du’a for others – Angels are making the same du’a for you.
When you study Islam with others – Angels surround you with their wings and Allah ﷻ forgives your gathering.
When you teach good – All of creation sends blessings upon you.
You feel alone? You’re surrounded.
You feel unsupported? The noblest beings in existence are praying for your success.
You feel like nobody cares? Angels who’ve never sinned care deeply about your salvation.
How to Attract Even More Angelic Support
Want the angels to love you even more? Here’s how:
Maintain your prayer spot after Salah. Don’t rush away. Sit. Make dhikr. Make du’a. Let the angels keep praying for you.
Make abundant du’a for other Muslims. Every prayer you make for others comes back to you through the angels.
Join or create circles of knowledge and dhikr. Study circles. Quran classes. Islamic discussions. The angels actively search for these gatherings.
Teach people good. Even small things. Share a hadith. Explain an Islamic concept. Encourage someone toward righteousness. All of creation will bless you for it.
Repent quickly when you sin. The angel on your left is waiting, hoping you’ll repent so he doesn’t have to write it down. Don’t make him wait long.
The Support You Can’t See But Must Believe In
The unseen realm is more real than what you see with your eyes. Angels are more real than the device you’re reading this on. Their du’as for you are more powerful than any human support.
You might not see them. But they see you.
You might not hear them. But they speak about you to Allah ﷻ.
You might not feel them. But they surround you.
And the next time you feel alone, remember: The bearers of Allah’s Throne just asked Him to forgive you, protect you, and admit you to Paradise.
An angel just said “Ameen” to your silent prayer.
Another angel is waiting beside you, ready to record your next good deed.
Teams of angels are roaming, hoping to find you in a state of remembering Allah ﷻ.
You’re not alone. You’ve never been alone. And you never will be alone.
The entire celestial realm is rooting for you. They want you to succeed. They want you in Paradise. They’re asking Allah ﷻ to grant you everything you need.
So keep going. Keep praying. Keep trying. Keep repenting. Keep learning. Keep teaching good.
Because somewhere in the heavens right now, an angel just said:
“O Allah ﷻ, forgive them. O Allah ﷻ, have mercy on them. O Allah ﷻ, guide them to Your straight path.”
And he’s talking about you.
